Was macht frau, wenn es draußen 35°C im Schatten sind und einem das Schwimmbad zu voll ist? Man geht ins Museum, weil es dort eine gute Klimaanlage gibt und eine tolle Ausstellung über Leonardo da Vinci's Erfindungen. Ausprobieren ausdrücklich erwünscht. Ob das Fotografieren auch erwünscht war, weiß ich nicht, hab ich aber einfach gemacht.

I think it hit 28 yesterday (possibly 30 in the warmer parts of the UK), so no, not as hot as you - though it was very, very humid, which always makes it seem hotter.

Today has been cooler, but massive cloudburst! Hubby was driving (fortunately, I'm not sure I could have coped), but we were down to 30 mph on the motorway, hardly able to see because of the rain and driving through the occasional huge puddle! Lots of flooded roads around our home, plus mud and debris in our garden - neighbours say it was about 3 inches deep at one point! Fortunately, not enough to flood the house... unlike some people/shops around here. It came so fast and so heavy, no drainage/sewage system could have coped with it!

I have some photos, but that'll be tomorrow's job now. Headache hit me this evening and I'm off to bed soon.
